Of course! However, Beyond Studios DC is consistently being used for private events and production shoots, for this reason we are unable to accommodate walk-in tours. Please make sure to contact us
in advance if you wish to see the space.
You don't have to use all the equipment provided, but that won't change the rates.
We can hold a requested date until up to 48 hours in advance of a shoot. At that time we reserve the right to release the hold. If the studio receives a direct booking request on your hold date, we will notify you immediately and you will have 24 hours to finalize the booking or release the hold. If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours, we will release the hold.
No. The studio is on the second floor and we do not have a service elevator - please come prepared to carry any equipment/props up a flight of stairs.
There are a number of lots in the area and street parking up and down 9th Street and on the surrounding blocks. We are located directly across from the Washington Convention Center, if you will be bringing large amounts of gear we advise that you take a look at their upcoming events calendar
and plan accordingly; large scale events at the Convention Center can make parking and load-in/load-out tricky.
・If you wish to serve alcohol, you must obtain your own liquor license, we do not provide one.
・The space can hold a maximum of 50 people standing (including staff & crew) with no tables/seating.
・The capacity decreases based on the number of tables/seating needed for your event.
・The space comfortably sits 30 (specific arrangements may change this number slightly).
・The studio is an intimate space and tends to get pretty warm when capacity is reached and we know it can be a little uncomfortable for some.
Staff will do their best to ventilate the space.
・There is a kitchenette accessible from the photo studio, which is available at an ad-on rate.
If you are interested in using this for your rental, please make note of it in your inquiry.
The photo studio at Beyond Studios DC is not sound proof. It is located in downtown DC so there are occasional street sounds that sneak through the walls. If you will be using sensitive microphones and audio recording is an integral part of your project we recommend filming in the recording studio
